Anaheim III:
Pre-qualifying -
Ryan grabbed the holeshot on his MB1/ Tokyo Mods Honda, but got passed
by Ryam Morais on the first lap. Ryan tried a couple of times to get the
position back and then settled for second.
In Heat 1 Ryan
started out in a qualifying position and was running about 8th on the
first lap. Then he lost a few positions to riders Casillas, Mills,
Collier and Sorby. and finished 11th.
In the LCQ Ryan
started out in the 4th and final transfer spot and held his position for
2 laps. On the 3rd lap he spun his wheel too much up the face of a
triple and nearly endoed. When he landed, his feet were off the pegs and
he could not set up for the next triple. So instead of passing Eric Nye
for 3rd, Ryan dropped back to 5th. Then as Ryan attempted to hold off a
group of charging riders, he got taken out and finished 16th.
