Redmond, WA, July 12 2004 Ryan Abrigo was invited by friend Lori Longthorne, Program Manager at Microsoft, to participate in Take Your Daughters and Sons To Work Day at Microsoft. Thousands of children invaded Microsoft's Redmond Washington Campus to get a glimpse into what it takes to work at a high tech company. Take Our Daughters to Work Day was started 12 years ago as a nationwide initiative to help girls get a firsthand look at careers they might want to pursue someday. It later evolved into Take our 'daughters and son's' to work day. Ryan was on hand to talk with kids, sign autographs, and pose for photos in one of the fun-filled activities of the day. "The Circle of Champions" gave the children a chance to get a first hand look at other kinds of "high tech" equipment such as Motocross bikes, Hydroplanes, & Porsche race cars. They even had the Xbox Escalade complete with plasma screen television in the back! Below are a few photos from the event.
